ITI Driving School – Terms and Conditions
1. General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all driving lessons and services provided by ITI Driving School (“the School”).
1.2. By booking or attending a driving lesson, the student (“the learner”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Lessons and Bookings
2.1. Lessons must be booked in advance and confirmed by the School.
2.2. Each lesson lasts the agreed duration, typically 45 or 60 minutes.
2.3. Learners must hold a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license before starting any lesson.
2.4. Lessons will begin and end at the pre-agreed location.
3. Payments and Fees
3.1. All lesson fees must be paid in full before the lesson begins, unless otherwise agreed.
3.2. Package deals must be used within the specified time frame.
3.3. Fees are non-transferable and non-refundable except as stated in Section 5.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
4.2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the full lesson fee being charged.
4.3. The School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to instructor illness, vehicle unavailability, or unsafe weather conditions.
5. Refunds
5.1. Refunds will only be issued at the School’s discretion in exceptional circumstances.
5.2. No refunds will be given for lessons already taken or for cancellations without sufficient notice.
6. Instructor and Vehicle
6.1. All instructors are licensed and approved by the appropriate driving authority.
6.2. Vehicles used are insured, roadworthy, and fitted with dual controls.
6.3. The instructor may terminate a lesson if the learner is unfit to drive (e.g., under the influence of alcohol or drugs).
7. Responsibilities of the Learner
7.1. The learner must bring a valid driving permit or license to every lesson.
7.2. The learner must wear suitable footwear and clothing for safe driving.
7.3. The learner must follow all instructions given by the instructor for safety reasons.
8. Driving Tests
8.1. Use of the School’s vehicle for a driving test must be arranged in advance.
8.2. The instructor reserves the right to withhold the vehicle if the learner is deemed not test-ready.
9. Liability
9.1. The School is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from a learner’s failure to follow instructions or comply with traffic laws.
9.2. The School’s liability is limited to the cost of the lessons provided.
10. Privacy
10.1. Personal information collected will only be used for lesson administration and will not be shared without consent.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1. ITI Driving School reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
11.2. Updated terms will be posted on our website or communicated to learners directly.
